Stone Leaf Capital is an Australian capital-markets firm. Black Shard was engaged to build the firm's technology, brand, and operating systems.
Stone Leaf Capital runs funds management, capital raising and corporate advisory for wholesale and professional clients. The firm engaged Black Shard to design and ship the technology it operates on: the brand, the public site, and the staff portal that runs day-to-day operations, compliance, and the policy framework.
The portal is the operational backbone. Critical-event tracking, policy modules, an audit trail, structured around the firm's AFSL perimeter and retention obligations. We ship to it under an ongoing engagement; the public marketing site is live.
What we built.
- Brand identity and public marketing site, live at stoneleafcapital.com.au
- Staff portal on Next.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL behind Microsoft Entra sign-in: critical-event calendar, policy modules, CAR returns, and the breach, complaints, conflicts, and training registers
- AML and KYC verification dispatched through InfoTrack, live in production with a fail-closed guard
- Document register in living sync with the firm's SharePoint estate, with provenance-guarded retention and a quarterly restore drill
- Compliance audit log capturing actor, action, and before/after state on every change, sealed monthly into hash-manifested archives
- Windows desktop app with a session-gated, sha256-verified update channel
