Website terms.

These terms cover your use of the blackshard.com.au website and its subdomains (the "site"). They do not cover engagement terms for work we do for clients, or investment terms for any vehicle we operate. Those terms are set out in separate signed agreements.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, taxation, or investment advice. Pages about our ventures (including GRM LAW and Stone Leaf Capital) describe what the operating businesses do; they do not constitute the provision of advice from those businesses to you. If you want professional advice, retain the relevant venture under its own terms of engagement.

We try to keep the site accurate, but ventures evolve. We may change copy, structure, or what we list as live without notice. The "last updated" date at the top of these terms moves when we change them; the structure of the change is logged in the repository commit history.

The site, its written content, the brand marks, the visual system, and the underlying code are owned by Black Shard. Third-party UI components are used under their respective licences (notably Tailwind Plus and shadcn-studio Pro). You may not reproduce substantial copy or visual assets without our written permission.

Submissions to the contact form are governed by our privacy policy. Sending a brief does not create a retainer, an advisory relationship, or any other engagement. Engagement starts only when a separate signed agreement is in place.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes about the use of this site go to the courts of Queensland.

This page is the current version. The longer-form text (including warranty disclaimers and liability limitations) is being finalised with GRM LAW. When it lands, the "last updated" date will move. Treat anything not explicitly covered here as governed by ordinary Australian commercial-website norms.
